Lahloo loose-leaf tea at Abergavenny Food Festival

September 19th & 20th, Abergavenny

I love the Abergavenny Food Festival. A fantastic celebration of fabulous food. What more could you want! The Abergavenny Food Festival is exactly the same – so real. It’s for people who love food and it’s all about the food! It’s my favourite food festival. This year we have been invited to have a stand at the festival and I can’t wait! I love talking to people about delicious tea, tasting it with them and seeing their faces when they realise that this is what tea should taste like!

I first went to the lovely little market town of Abergavenny (it’s just up the M4 from Bristol and surrounded by beautiful countryside) about 4 years ago on a bright and crisp Autumn day and, after a hike up Skirrid Fawr, enjoyed a fab Sunday roast at Stephen Terry’s place, the Hardwick. The outstandingly gorgeous scenery and the autumn colours blew me away. Can you see why?

Having just moved from London to Bristol, Abergavenny summed up all that I loved about living outside of London. Now it’s one of my favourite days out when I have a rare day off! We also supply some of the fantastic eateries, of course including Stephen Terry’s place, around Abergavenny with exceptional loose leaf tea which gives we even more reason to go!

Come along and see us and try our exceptional loose leaf teas from the finest family-owned tea gardens around the world. Find out more about the event and book tickets here.

If you’d like to stay somewhere or eat out check out the following places:

The Bell at Skenfrith
The Walnut Tree
the Hardwick
The Angel Hotel

Looking forward to sharing a cup of tea with you! See you soon.
